Asset Protection Area Manager / ME,NH locations
 
General Description:
Protect Company assets. Promote and maintain safe store environment while addressing and minimizing loss caused by theft and fraud in an area consisting of 5-8 store locations.
 
Essential Reponsibilities
  • Prevent, detect and resolve store-based theft and fraud in assigned stores.
  • Apprehend and properly process all shoplifters.
  • Provide assistance and direction to store management in (during) crisis situations.
  • Build liaisons between stores and law enforcement.
  • Educate store management and supervision on the proper steps and disciplines to prevent, detect and resolve theft and fraud in assigned stores.
  • Conduct store visits and audits to identify and resolve safety and core AP procedural concerns to minimize loss opportunities in these areas.
  • Provide communication link with Regional AP Manager on known theft and fraud.
  • Complete Asset Protection Manager multi-store training requirements to position him or her for advancement.
 
Qualification Requirements:
  • High School diploma and Associates Degree in a related field. Single store Loss Prevention Management experience is acceptable, although multi-store Loss Prevention Management experience is preferred.
  • Individuals must be capable of effectively communicating verbally in English to persons at all levels of the organization, all customers, persons apprehending for shoplifting, law enforcement and court officials.
  • Individuals must be capable of effectively communicating in writing, reports that clearly and accurately depict the events pertaining to shoplifting incidents.
  • Individuals must have a clean police record and satisfactorily pass the requirements of a background check.
  • Individuals must have a valid drivers license, good driving record and reliable transportation.
  • Individuals must have moderate to excellent computer skills and experience with Microsoft tools such as Word and Excel.
