Store / Field Maintenance Technician / Boston Area- South
 
General Description:
Responsible for working with Regional Property Managers and Maintenance Coordinators for assigned stores. Needs to have a sense of urgency and timely completion of tasks and Construction like projects. Projects will include but not limited to performing Work Orders, landscaping, general carpentry and other duties required by the company.
 
Essential Reponsibilities
  • Assists Regional Property Managers with facility issues
  • Assisting Maintenance Coordinators with work orders and other projects
  • Compiles material list for ordering the necessary materials to complete all work orders
  • Will be responsible for carpentry, drywall, flooring, painting & patching and other general duties
  • May assist, or oversee work performed by outside contractors
  • Follow safety guidelines at all times, ensure any unsafe store practices are addressed
  • Must maintain a positive attitude, good people skills & be customer service focused
  • Attention to detail
  • If operating a company vehicle, must adhere to all company policies
 
Qualification Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 yrs experience with the use of power equipment and hand tools
  • Experience in light carpentry, drywall, flooring, painting & patching required
  • Hands-on skills in various construction trades
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision as well as part of a team
  • Must be flexible and able to adapt to changes in plans and schedules
  • Able to work a flexible schedule which may include overtime or off-hours work
  • Travel required
  • Maintaining a professional demeanor when representing the company and working with vendors and other store/corporate personnel
  • Time Management
  • Good communication skills
