District Asset Protection Manager- NY
 
General Description:
Protecting of Company assets. Promote and maintain safe store environment while addressing and minimizing loss caused by theft and fraud in assigned stores, consisting of 9 or more store locations.
 
Essential Reponsibilities
Prevent, detect and resolve theft and fraud in assigned stores.
Provide assistance and direction to store management in crisis situations.
Build liaisons between stores and Law Enforcement or regulatory agencies.
Attend store meetings to educate store management and supervision on the proper steps and disciplines to prevent, detect and resolve theft and fraud at store level.
Conduct store visits and audits to identify and resolve safety and core AP procedural concerns to minimize loss.
Provide physical security needs, support and direction to open new store locations.
Represent the company at Criminal Court proceedings and other legal hearings.
 
Qualification Requirements:
Minimum 2-year college degree, preferably with Criminal Justice minor, or equivalent experience; Prior multi-store Loss Prevention Management experience with proven track record of successful management of store Loss Prevention programs.
Ability to communicate in written reports and ongoing verbal communication that clearly and accurately depicts events pertaining to incidents and investigations.
Must be able to plan and organize priorities of the team to provide the proper direction for implementation and execution of Asset Protection Programs in assigned stores.
Effective communication verbally with all levels of management, associates, Field Supervision business partners, peers, customers, shoplifters, law enforcement and court officials.
Proficient in MS Office applications; Word, Excel. Knowledge of PowerPoint, Access, and Publisher a plus.
Strong investigative and analytical skills
Good managerial skills; time management, developing and conducting presentations
Current drivers license with good driving record, clean criminal record; ability to travel between multiple stores in a designated market; the market is subject to change according to Company size and need
